Acceptance
By downloading or using ChocoForm ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms form a binding agreement between you and the developer of ChocoForm ("we", "us").
What ChocoForm is
ChocoForm is a professional formulation tool for chocolatiers, pastry chefs, and food-technology professionals. It provides calculators, solvers, and AI-assisted guidance for chocolate and ganache recipe development.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use ChocoForm on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the app.
Subscriptions
ChocoForm offers optional Pro and Pro+ subscriptions, managed and billed by Apple via the App Store. Prices are shown in the app at the time of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancellation and refund requests are handled through your Apple ID account settings or Apple Support — not through us.
Pro+ subscribers receive a monthly Claude AI request quota as shown in the app at the time of purchase. Unused requests do not roll over. We reserve the right to adjust this quota with reasonable notice.
Acceptable use
You may not use ChocoForm or its AI features to:
- Generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or deceptive
- Attempt to circumvent subscription limits or access controls
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
- Use automated means to send requests to our AI proxy at scale
- Resell or commercialise access to the AI proxy
Intellectual property
The app, its design, code, and all built-in content (including the 55 built-in ingredient profiles, balancing models, and PDF templates) are the intellectual property of the developer. Recipes you create are yours — we claim no ownership over your formulations.
The ChocoForm name, wordmark, and icon are trademarks of the developer. You may not use them without written permission.
AI-generated content
Suggestions, recipes, and analysis produced by Sous-Chef AI (whether via Apple Intelligence or Claude) are provided as a starting point for your professional judgement. We make no warranty that AI output is accurate, complete, or safe for commercial use. You are responsible for verifying all formulations before production.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that results will be accurate for any specific production context.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on its output — including losses from product defects, recalls, or food-safety incidents.
Changes to the app and terms
We may update the app, its features, or these terms at any time. Material changes to the terms will be communicated via the App Store update notes or by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
We may discontinue the app or any feature with reasonable notice. In the event of discontinuation, we will make reasonable efforts to ensure Pro+ subscribers are not billed beyond the date of discontinuation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions, except where superseded by applicable local consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
